From Mike Christensen I wouldn't suggest using any chemicals. A good pressure washing with just water ought to be sufficient to clean a deck. Even with that, though, I would be careful to avoid too much of the water entering the pond. The chemicals used to treat the wood initially will likely leach out to some extent during the pressure washing.
